The Australian Swap Meets directory is managed by Holden Heaven for the interest and benefit of all motoring enthusiasts and motoring clubs. The directory aims to support swap meet organisers who generously donate their time to run these swap meets to support local charities and local motoring clubs for the benefit of their local community.

We recognise that there are dozens of excellent commercial motoring sites and motoring enthusiasts sites that provide swap meet information. We do not intend to duplicate or replace any of these excellent services. The Townsville Early Holden Club is the largest car club in North Queensland with a current financial membership of approximately 70.  The club formed not only to promote and foster the Holden marquee, but also to foster friendship and community spirit.  We are a family orientated club with members ranging in age from 17 to late 70s. The Townsville Early Holden Club Inc. was established in 1987 and will be celebrating its twenty fifth year with next years show.  We have gone from strength to strength since forming and will only get better in the future.

The main event we conduct as a club each year is our annual “All Holden Day” held at Cutheringa Park, West End, Townsville.  This year’s show will be held on 1st July 2012.  Last year’s show was a great success with over 70 cars being displayed, with entrants coming from all over the district. There were approximately 4000 – 5000 members of the public who viewed the show and 54 different trophies were given out on the day.  A number of businesses also conducted trade displays with great success.  The event was also not lacking in media coverage with Channel 7, the Townsville Bulletin, ZINC FM and 4TTT Radio acknowledging the day as a success.
